San Francisco Treats

We spent the long weekend in San Francisco for Scott and Nina's wedding. It was a great time. The wedding was really amazing and we also got time to visit with friends, explore the city and relax. Awesome.

The lovely view from Emily and Devin's porch. Ahh. California. Most of these photos were taken by Ryan. The ones that look extra vibrant have been treated with his new favorite photo tool - photomatix. Email him if you're interested in learning more...

Now showing at the Castro theater.

Lucy and Yeti. Love all around.

Breakfast at the market. A salmon BLT...yum. Pam and Brian's hotel room was right next to ours so Lu went over to visit in the morning. AND it turned out that they were on our flight home. Amazing what a pair of extra hands can do for traveling with a toddler.

The fog rolls in.

Merry go round! We rode both a lion and a giraffe.

Eating cheerios with chopsticks.

Dance lessons at the Sangeet on Saturday. Lucy was very into the music and dancing. She was getting down with her toddler self.

Pier 39.

Hmmm. Chocolate.

Alcatraz has a lovely view of San Fransisco.

Do you see the sweet love in the foreground? We saw all kinds of things in San Francisco.

Fun at the beach!

Lucy has Ryan's ability to stop the waves. Well, at least she's working on it.

Palace of Fine Arts. The wedding was under the rotunda. Stunning and beautiful.

Party clothes. I know. I know. I'm wearing flip flops. My knee was killing me and the heels seemed like a bad idea.

Scott and his extended family and friends parade him to the wedding.

More Lucy and Yeti love. They are making the same face. So funny.

A lovely last day in San Fran complete with amazing sandwiches, ice cream and sunning in the park.

A great visit all around. Thanks friends for helping making it special.

  2. What a fun weekend and a very cool wedding! I loved, loved, loved San Francisco when we took a trip there a few years ago. I hope you had a chance to see the sea lions, but I can't remember if I read that they had left the pier or not. Anyway, it looks like you had an amazing trip.
