Face(s)

In honor of Facebook (tm) trademarking the word "face" this past week (*for solely chatroom/oneline message board forums) - we share with you some really cute faces. Gotta use them while we still can.

Photo shoot with Dad while Mom is at work.

Snuggles.

Smiles.

This is not one of the photos that Ryan edited in Picassa to look all polished and lovely but I just love the expression on her face. It looks like she's just gotten away with something.

Draayer Thanksgiving/Christmas

A few weekends ago we went down to Austin, MN for some food, fun and family. Bev hosted a  merry band of relatives that includes an ever growing number of kids. It was Lucy's first white elephant...and she was mostly interested in chewing on her hands and anything else she could drag close to her mouth.

Ooooh. Mom, pick the BIG box...(which turned out to have a large goose planter in it, a fine wine and some popcorn balls. Just what you need for a quiet weekend with your spouse.)

Lucy is enthralled by Maya and Emma. And they are, in turn, enthralled with her if just a little disappointed that she's not walking yet.

Lucy and Grandma Pam

On the way home we stopped at Como Conservatory and Zoo to take a break from driving in the ice storm. It was all green and lovely and warm in there. We also took a peek at the monkeys and polar bears. To our 5 month old - monkeys were way cooler than plants. But she seems to be tolerating the tropical house.

A visit from Pam and Brian this weekend. Lots of smiles, a long walk and good food.

Special T by Tre!

A shout out to Theresa and her one of a kind t-shirt. Thanks! Lucy can now be both fashion forward and socially responsible.

Chillaxin

This happened exactly 0.23 minutes before we were supposed to leave the house for daycare/work.

Halloween fun with the Mattsons and Hedins.

Justin and a super cute purple dinosaur.

The intense stare of a baby panda. I dare you to look away.

Food firsts

Over the last few weeks we've been introducing a few new flavors. Rice cereal? Eh, she could take it or leave it. The spoon is much cooler frankly.

But sweet potatoes. Now we're talkin'!

Fall fun

Hiking in Hartley Park

Um, guys, you do realize I'm still attached right?

Pumpkin carving with the Ambrosis. Emma shows off her masterpiece. I think it's a self portrait.

Leaf pile peeping.

Seats with style

With stronger back muscles...a whole new world of chairs becomes possible...

Thanks to our neighbors and the people who lived here before us...we now have a swing in our living room. Which is perfect because it's getting to be a bit chilly for the playground.

It's a hit for the most part. And gets lots of laughs.

Grandma and Grandpa Erickson brought this super high tec (European!) sled. Lu tried it out in the living room. Seems like a winner! Great thing is that you can push and pull it with that long bar (flipped toward the camera). We got ourselves a pulk people!
