In NYC we stayed with Neal and Kelly. They were wonderful hosts...good company, inn keepers, tour guides etc. While they were bringing home the bacon, we played tourist and saw some sights.
On Friday we visited the Natural History Museum. We didn't see Ben Stiller or Robin Williams but DID see the biggest tree in the universe. Ok, maybe not but it sure seemed like it. Once stood over 300 feet tall. Took multiple days to cut it down. Giant trees are magic. Even in a museum.
And then there was this whale. whoa. Even models take my breath away. Can you imagine being in the water with this guy? Again. whoa.
The dinosaur collection was incredible. A blog post doesn't do it justice.
