We spent a great week at my parent's new house in New Hampshire.
Lucy settled right in. Look at this! There is a chair just her size. Move over Goldilocks.
Here's a shot of the house from the lake. It's gorgeous and so very interesting. The house is a great representation of my parents and they have worked HARD to make it happen. What a nice place to spend time.
There are no shortage of rocks to throw into Ayer's Lake.
Several of my parents' friends live just across the water from them too. It's like water taxi central.
Lu rocking her ear plug headband in the floaty boat. Fun times in the sun.
The view from the deck. It's like a tree house.
The fam gathers.
Three generations of bathing beauties.
Summer time painting.
Of course we had to visit the ocean. Oh New England. How I love you and your seaside quaintness.
Tide pooling!
We also got to hang out with Ben and Trish. Lucy got a ride up Blue Job Mountain from Uncle Ben. That's her little sun hat peeking out there.
A trip to New Hampshire is not complete without a little Nana time.
Special time with Mimi was a trip highlight. Lucy has been saying "Mimi's house?". Painted toe nails are a grandmother classic. I still think about my Nana every time I paint my nails. "Paint your right hand first! It will be hard to use your left hand if it's painted."
And Lucy learned to flute a pie crust. An essential skill in this family.
The cat was a central highlight. Hannah the cat overshadowed everything else whenever she was in the room. After the first scratch, Lucy was pretty good with her.
Watch cat. Watch baby.
This is the same canoe that my parents took us out in all the time as kids.
The happy man (my father) at the end of the dock.
Looking into a sky miles credit card on the return flight. I think she's planning more trips soon.
